A little break down on what their Freedom System means:
You start out by choosing a palette that can hold as little as 2 products, up to as many as 40.
They come in palettes that can hold either round, square or rectangular pans.
Round pans hold concealers, lipstick color, and eyebrow wax and powder.
Rectangular and square pans hold pressed powder, blush, and eye shadow.
Some pictures of what I got...
Color names from left to right:
- AMC Eye Shadow 66
- AMC Eye Shadow 05
- D.S. Eye Shadow 477
- Matte Eye Shadow 370
- D.S. Eye Shadow 495
The palettes are very strong, and magnetic. So strong in fact that you have to slide the cover to the side in order to remove it. No fear of the top coming off and ruining your pretty new colors. :)
The clear cover seems to be glass, and the black bottom almost feels like stone to me. I really love the whole design, it feels very solid.
The whole package was $35 for 5 shadows and the palette. I'd say a very good deal for what I got quality and quantity wise. Each color has wonderful pigment and stay power with and without a primer.
I plan on doing some swatches soon, so keep reading!
